As a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail setting, your duties typically include the following: Customer Service: 1. Greeting and assisting customers with inquiries about over-the-counter (OTC) medications and health products. 2. Explaining the proper use of non-prescription medications and other products like vitamins or skincare. 3. Referring customers to the pharmacist for specific medical advice or prescription-related queries. Prescription Handling: 1. Receiving and processing prescriptions under the pharmacist’s supervision. 2. Inputting prescription details into the pharmacy's system and preparing labels. 3. Organizing and retrieving prescriptions for customers upon pickup. Stock Management: 1. Restocking shelves with medications, health products, and other retail items. 2. Monitoring expiration dates and removing expired products from inventory. 3. Assisting in ordering supplies and managing inventory levels. Administrative Duties: 1. Handling cash register duties, processing payments, and managing refunds. 2. Managing customer records and ensuring confidentiality. 3. Ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards. Cleanliness & Safety: 1. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. 2. Sanitizing workspaces and equipment regularly. 3. Ensuring proper storage of medications according to temperature and safety requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,700.00 per month
