Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Interaction
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Recommend suitable furniture solutions based on style, budget, and functionality.
- Demonstrate product features, quality, and benefits effectively.
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
Product Knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the furniture range, materials, and styles.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in home and office furniture.
- Advise customers on care and maintenance of furniture.
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional after-sales service and resolve any customer inquiries or complaints.
- Follow up with customers regarding deliveries, product updates, and special orders.
Sales Operations
- Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain accurate records of customer purchases and sales activity.
- Assist in managing stock levels and visual merchandising displays.
Showroom Maintenance
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
- Rearrange and display furniture as needed to highlight key products and promotions.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the team and managers to achieve store goals.
- Support marketing efforts by promoting sales events, discounts, and new arrivals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in furniture or a related industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
- Knowledge of interior design principles (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Physically able to stand for long periods and assist with furniture displays.
