- Maintain and update accurate financial records for clients, ensuring all transactions are recorded in accordance with accounting principles.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for clients.
- Assist with maintaining the general ledger, reviewing journal entries, and making necessary adjustments.
- Communicate directly with clients to resolve any accounting-related issues and provide financial advice or support.
- Analyze financial data and assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
- Proven experience (1-2 years) working as an account executive, preferably in an accounting firm or related setting.
- Able to speak in English and Mandarin.
- Strong understanding of accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, or other accounting systems).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of tax laws, financial reporting standards (MPERS), and accounting regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Client-focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
