Job Description: -

  • Assists Team Leader in planning and administration of reviews.
  • Assists Team Leader in preliminary work.
  • Review and carry out tests based on review programmes to assess the effectiveness of the client's internal control systems.
  • Establish facts and conduct adequate testing on source documents and procedures by referring to all relevant standards, policies, procedures, instructions and other guidelines relevant to the review.
  • Identify causes of lapses and weaknesses in business processes by analysing possible solutions or avenues for improvements.
  • Assists Team Leader in entrance and exit meetings for management acceptance on review scope and recommendations.
  • Maintain proper working papers and ensure adequate documentation to support review work, including the using TeamMate.
  • Assists in drafting the audit report for the Team Leader's review and carrying out any other work assignment requested by superiors.
  • Document time and expenses for the review.
  • Conduct special investigations and other assignments, as and when necessary.

Job Requirements: -

  • Relevant tertiary education (minimum Bachelor's Degree) in any discipline, preferably in the related field.
  • Professional qualification (CIA, MIA, IIA, ACCA, etc.)
  • Results and quality orientation, team player with excellent communication skills.
