Job Description: -
- Assists Team Leader in planning and administration of reviews.
- Assists Team Leader in preliminary work.
- Review and carry out tests based on review programmes to assess the effectiveness of the client's internal control systems.
- Establish facts and conduct adequate testing on source documents and procedures by referring to all relevant standards, policies, procedures, instructions and other guidelines relevant to the review.
- Identify causes of lapses and weaknesses in business processes by analysing possible solutions or avenues for improvements.
- Assists Team Leader in entrance and exit meetings for management acceptance on review scope and recommendations.
- Maintain proper working papers and ensure adequate documentation to support review work, including the using TeamMate.
- Assists in drafting the audit report for the Team Leader's review and carrying out any other work assignment requested by superiors.
- Document time and expenses for the review.
- Conduct special investigations and other assignments, as and when necessary.
Job Requirements: -
- Relevant tertiary education (minimum Bachelor's Degree) in any discipline, preferably in the related field.
- Professional qualification (CIA, MIA, IIA, ACCA, etc.)
- Results and quality orientation, team player with excellent communication skills.
