Responsibilities

1. Understanding the whole organizational strategic plans and assist to realise those plans by the creation of digital content and photography assets.

2. Able to support the marketing and communications team in promoting JLG's brand and business segments (products and services).

3. Designing and producing effective and high-quality graphic work for digital and print for use across a variety of channels.

4. Managing the graphic production process for each project, selecting suppliers and production companies for quality, reliability and cost; where in-house production is possible this option should be taken.

5. Producing highly creative work within brand guidelines and championing the visual identity framework.

6. Working with colleagues and third parties to monitor the implementation of the brand.

7. Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure all work is delivered on schedule, to an agreed deadline and within budget.

8. Ensuring the best design, techniques, and production methods are selected for each project and keeping up-to-date with new style and trend available in the market.

9. Assist in the production of JLG's Annual or Integrated Report from start to finish to ensure key messaging, content creation, and design/theme direction are completed in a timely manner and within budget.

10. Prioritising and meeting deadlines against a challenging program of work.

11. Providing indicative costs, as and when required, for budgeting purposes.

12. Maintaining all records and files relating to the design work for each project.

13. Carrying out and prioritize any ad hoc duties as and when needed.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Creative Multimedia, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a marketing or corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering creative projects from concept to completion.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Knowledge of photography, videography, and editing tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, social media tools).
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to brand guidelines and maintain visual identity consistency.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • A keen eye for trends and innovation in design and marketing.
  • Experience with motion graphics or animation.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for basic website design or updates.
