Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Automated Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing on Android and iOS platforms, with expertise in automation tools like Appium and proficiency in Python. This role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications that serve the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mobile Application Testing: Perform thorough testing of Android and iOS mobile applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability meet our high standards.
  • Automated Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium and Python to streamline testing processes.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using designated tools, collaborating with developers for timely resolution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all delivered solutions comply with company standards and client requirements, focusing on delivering a seamless user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in automated testing and mobile technologies to improve testing strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of working experience in Software Testing or the Quality Assurance role in the Banking or Software Development industry. Experience in mobile application testing for Android and iOS platforms is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in automated testing methodologies and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Hands-on experience with Appium for automated testing.
  • Familiarity with other testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
  • Language: Proficiency in the Mandarin language is a huge added advantage.
