Provide support as part of the Chief Strategy & Sustainability (CSS) Office in preparing presentations, monthly and quarterly reports, conducting research and benchmarking including assisting with the development of policies, procedures, frameworks, plans and proposals.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer (CSSO) in preparing presentations, monthly and quarterly reports to be presented to the Management and Board.
  • Undertake any special assignment or specific task assigned by CSSO as well as support initiatives to transform CSS into an advisory function.
  • Assist in providing insights to CSSO and other CSS Heads by performing research and evaluating industry trends, economics, customer behaviour or other variables that will impact the business to assist actionable strategic direction, strategy communication and corporate prioritization.
  • Support analysis and benchmarking of industrial players to understand the current trends and room for continuous improvements towards gaining sustainable competitive advantage.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders in delivering CSS’s objectives, priorities, programs and initiatives.
  • Assist in knowledge-sharing sessions with the team members to build their competency and capacity to meet PLUS Malaysia Berhad’s (PMB) needs.
  • Support the development of sustainability-related policies, procedures, framework, strategies, plans and proposals to improve PMB’s sustainability stewardship.
  • Implement ESG-related projects to support PMB’s aspirations and commitments to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execute sustainability advocacy programs/engagements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the development of risk and resilience-related policies, procedures, frameworks, strategies, plans and proposals to improve PMB’s risk management and resilience practices.
  • Support the development of compliance-related policies, procedures, framework, strategies, plans and proposals to improve PMB’s adherence to laws and regulations.

Requirements:

Academic Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ Finance/ Economics or any equivalent professional qualification

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in Accounting/Finance related areas.
  • Exposure and interest to subject matters in relation to governance, risk, compliance, management consulting, change management, transformation and strategic planning

Technical Skill/Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
