The Role

As a driven, detail-oriented, and passionate intern, you will work with our investment team and gain hands-on experience in venture capital, including but not limited to deal sourcing, conducting market research, evaluating startups, and supporting portfolio management activities. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the VC industry and develop your skills in investment analysis and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research on emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and investment opportunities.
  • Assist in sourcing and evaluating startups by analyzing business models, financials, and market potential to support decision-making processes.
  • Attend startup pitches and industry events to build a network and stay updated on market trends.
  • Support portfolio management with research, strategy, and operational initiatives.
  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute insights to investment discussions and support the team in various initiatives and activities.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in any field, preferably Finance, Business, Economics, computer science, or IT-related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good proficiency in Microsoft and Google suites.
  • Have a passion for business, investment, startup, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This is a 6-months role that will expose you to different businesses and innovative business models. This is also a great opportunity to develop critical business and investment analysis and strategic decision-making skills.
