Position Summary:

As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in the retail industry, your primary responsibility is to provide strategic HR support and guidance to multiple brands and cities within F&B and Retail business. You will collaborate closely with local retail management teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals, foster a positive workplace culture, and drive employee engagement. This role plays a critical part in executing HR initiatives, addressing employee concerns, and implementing best practices across the region.

Key Responsibilities Area:

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage local and regional entities in full spectrum of HR functions.
  • Lead and coach the HR team in areas of Talent Acquisition, Business Partnering, Compensation & Benefits and HR Information System.
  • Develop and execute HR plans tailored to each brand and city within the region.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Partner with local hiring managers to identify staffing needs and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Support onboarding processes and retention initiatives to reduce turnover rates.
  • Monitor employee morale and propose engagement strategies.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance and support to resolve employee relations issues, such as conflicts, disputes, and performance management.
  • Conduct investigations when necessary, ensuring fairness and compliance.
  • To oversee compensation and benefits administration

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and work with the HR team to develop training programs.
  • Identify gaps in team’s skills sets and learning needs and establish programmes to develop HR team in growth potential
  • Facilitate or coordinate training sessions for employees and managers.

Performance Management:

  • Support performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist in succession planning and talent development.

HR Metrics and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyse HR data to identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics and trends within the region.

Change Management:

  • Assist with the implementation of organizational changes and ensure smooth transitions.
  • Address employee concerns and resistance during change initiatives.

Compliance and Policies:

  • Ensure that HR policies, procedures, and practices are consistent and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with local management to maintain a safe and inclusive work environment.

Others:

Undertake any ad-hoc projects assigned by the superior/management team from time to time.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
  • At least 7-8 years in HR roles, with significant experience in luxury retail (premium brands)and managing multi-location environments.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for thriving in a fast-paced retail setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to excel both independently and within collaborative team dynamics.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Practical experience with SWOT analysis.
