The Role
Reporting to: Deputy Bursar
- Marlborough College Malaysia is seeking a reliable and responsible Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating school vehicles, ensuring the safe transport of pupils, staff, and goods, as well as performing various courier duties within the school’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep assigned vehicles free from damage, in acceptable condition and consistently clean.
- Ensure that the vehicle is in safe condition prior to use and report any damage or mechanical malfunctions to the Transport Team.
- Work extra/overtime hours as needed according to schedule. Be willing to work 7 days a week when required.
- Maintain an excellent driving record. A valid Malaysia licence must be presented at the time of employment and no more than two violations can exist on an employee’s driving record at any given time.
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly, as assigned.
- Wear a Marlborough College Malaysia uniform shirt at all times and dress appropriately for the role.
- Complete all other tasks as assigned.
- To uphold the traditions and promote the ethos of Marlborough College Malaysia.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Drivers Licences and good driving record.
- Demonstrate dependability and self-motivation.
- Read, write, understand and communicate clearly in English.
- Maintain a high level of personal integrity and reliability.
- Maintain good physical condition that will enable you to perform all tasks required by your role.
Terms and Conditions
Hours of Work
Normal working hours are 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday.
