Chemist (Kota Damansara, Selangor)

Based in PCL, Kota Damansara, Selangor.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the lab to ensure all testing are smoothly carried out in accordance with the established quality system.
• Assist QA/QC Manager in the management of the laboratory and the quality system implementation.
• Responsible to ensure all laboratory equipment are within calibration, maintained and checked to provide valid and accurate measurement all the time.
• Responsible to ensure agreed targets are met, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Undertake additional tasks that may be requested by the QA/QC Manager.
  

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry/Industrial Chemistry or relevant science discipline from recognised university with minimum CGPA 3.0.
• Preferable to have knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 & Good Laboratory Practice.
• Able to speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer literate and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good interpersonal communication, analytical and organisation skills.
• Demonstrate a desire to continually learn.
• Multitask, self-motivated and good team player.
• Willing to travel around the operating centres to conduct Internal Audit.
