Job Description
In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
Marketing
- Develop multi-channel marketing strategies at Global HQ level to establish proper market positioning, pricing, and segmentation of the company’s products in alignment with business objectives to support the growth targets regionally
- Work with regional Country Heads to develop marketing plans and support sales targets to ensure business goals are met.
- Analyse competition on areas including product performance, branding, pricing, promotions.
- React to market swiftly according to economic and industry changes
- Provide technical expertise and advice in the marketing arena to senior management at Executive committee level with regards to tactical and strategic decisions facing the Group
- Driving digital and ecommerce strategy
- Create and build a strong brand for company’s paper products.
- Plan, execute and manage global marketing, branding and communication programs.
- Develop, improve and manage data reporting and analysis of CRM, CIM loyalty systems.
- Build Marketing competencies in Country offices
- Coach and develop team members
Product Management
- Review & improve existing product lines and developing new product launch
- Conduct competitive reviews, via recognized commercial presses.Secure endorsement where permitted
- Working with our production to Innovate new packaging protection while managing cost efficiency
- Keep up with technical advancements in the printing industry
- Recommend pricing architecture
- Understand contribution margin and increase yield over time by focusing on higher profit items
- Understand value chain from mill to store
- Review merchant / distributor plans and performance
- Track penetration of APRIL products at end-user level
- Develop key account program and incentivize performance
- Develop selling proposition and promotion materials
- Propose business building initiatives
Requirements
- Master / Degree in Marketing
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant to B2B marketing and deep experiences in product management at a global HQ level
- With strong track records of leadership especially in Emerging countries
- Strong experiences in channel distributions and multi-channel marketing experiences
- Very hands on with daily operations and yet possess a strong business acumen to lead the team
- Stable career history with each marketing career
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – esp. PowerPoint
- Passionate and results driven with an eye for details
- Professional and mature disposition, independent and able to multi-task
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Confident, meticulous, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Highly energetic and assertive
