F&B Project Assistant Manager

Main Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Plan and supervise the development of new restaurants, branch renovations, and related F&B projects.

- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and architects to ensure quality of work and schedule adherence.

- Manage project budgets and ensure expenditures adhere to the set estimates.

Maintenance:

- Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

- Handle repairs of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and premises facilities.

- Ensure all branches comply with safety and hygiene regulations (e.g. HACCP).

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

- Conduct periodic audits to identify technical issues in the branches.

- Respond promptly to any problems that may disrupt operations.

Team Leadership:

- Manage technical teams and ensure regular training is provided.

- Ensure team members adhere to standard work procedures and company policies.

Candidate Criteria:

Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) or Project Management.

At least 3 years of experience in development or maintenance projects, preferably in the F&B or hospitality industry.

In-depth understanding of commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and F&B industry safety regulations.

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, team player and time management skills.

Experience using project management software such as MS Project or AutoCAD is an advantage.

Willing to travel & work at night shift when necessary in order to monitor the progress of the site

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
