ROLLING MILL PROCESS & TECH SPECIALIST

• Responsible for process model calculations and studies for sizing rolling mill equipment including motors, work roll bending systems, cooling water systems, etc. • Develop achievable and quality guarantees hot rolled steel plates by developing a high-accuracy calculation model for mill stretch • Carry out new technology integration to maximize rolling mill performance • Research and work on refinement of the mill analysis technology • Maintains contact and works closely with in-house mechanical engineering, sales and marketing staff, providing them with technical and organizational support. • Responsible for rolling mill process model calculations and provide technical support to the rolling mill operations • Study and test methods for simulating scale formation in actual rolling processes and study the effects of alloy elements and atmosphere on scale structure and of scale structure on scale properties during hot rolling process • Provide support to Automation department during model implementation, testing, commissioning, and performance guarantees • Provide production analysis, roll bending, roll cooling, cooling section, crop shear and looped simulation. • Conduct and supervise all necessary technical calculations and preparation of technical specifications. • Interface to mechanical engineering on pre-projects and post projects. • Responsible for the development of documents relating to rolling mill process modeling
