Job Summary
As a Protégé in the Legal department, you will work under the supervision of legal professionals to gain hands-on experience in various legal functions. This program aims to prepare you for a career in law by equipping you with the knowledge, skills, and exposure needed to excel in the legal industry.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Documentation:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and letters.
Research and Analysis:
Conduct legal research to support decision-making and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Compliance Monitoring:
Support the team in monitoring and ensuring adherence to corporate governance and legal compliance requirements.
Case Management:
Assist in preparing case files, summaries, and legal briefs.
Meetings and Liaison:
Attend meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support legal proceedings.
Administrative Support:
Perform general administrative duties, including maintaining organized records and databases for legal files.
Requirements
Academic Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
