  • Establish and implement Product Development System in accordance with the relevant standards and regulations.
  • Accomplishes R&D department human resource objective by assist in recruiting and selecting candidates of R&D and lab technician. Orienting, training, assigning and discipline subordinates.
  • Communicating job expectations, appraising, monitoring, and reviewing job conditions for department team members.
  • Cooperate with marketing department in market survey on existing and potential new product.
  • Guide and lead the R&D team in developing new product concept report and presentation.
  • Study, guide and monitor product development projects by applying scientific & engineering knowledge and information including feasibility study, method, cost, formulation, market demand, packaging information and quality control.
  • Sourcing suitable processing line, production equipment and utensil for new product.
  • Optimize current product formulas and processes to meet financial goals.
  • Ensure developed new product meet customer expectations and within time frame.
  • Lead technical aspects of product scale up from laboratory scale to full-scale commercial manufacturing.
  • Coordinate trial run with other related departments.
  • Provide guidance and validation of new manufacturing and testing methods for existing as well as upcoming products.
  • Provide technical guidance for product and process problem resolution.
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate sensory evaluation when necessary. Evaluate and summarize the data analysis result.
  • Ensure safekeeping of private and confidential of department’s document is well maintained.
  • Carry out duties in complying to Company’s Food Safety System, Company’s Environment Guidelines, Company’s Health and Safety Guidelines, Company’s Policy and Procedures, etc. by maintaining, evaluating and continuous improvement.
  • Perform task and work requirement as and when required and assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
