Sales & Business Development:
The Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue by promoting and selling the hotel’s services to corporate clients, travel agencies, groups, and individual customers. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and working closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales skills, excellent customer service, and an in-depth understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
- Identify and target new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate clients, travel agencies, and group organizers.
- Follow up on leads, manage sales pipelines, and convert inquiries into bookings.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead in the industry
Customer Relationship Management:
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that clients’ needs and preferences are understood and met.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients and partners.
- Handle client queries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and positive feedback.
Negotiation & Contract Management:
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions for group bookings, corporate contracts, and special events.
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts for clients, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Work with the operations team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to service delivery.
Reporting & Market Research:
- Maintain detailed records of all sales activities, leads, and contracts in the CRM system.
- Track performance against targets and provide regular reports to the Sales Manager.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitors, and opportunities in the local and international market.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the marketing department to create promotional campaigns and materials.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments, such as operations, front desk, and event planning, to ensure a smooth guest experience.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to represent the hotel and build industry relationships.
