The opportunity
  • Manage day-to-day operational finance activities (AP, AR and others), communicate with senior stakeholders across more than 10 countries and leading the team to meet daily KPIs through customer liaison.
  • Set clear objectives and guide team to achieve targets and performance standards, focusing on key deliverables besides addressing team performance issues promptly and in line with personnel policies; escalate service failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to customer complaints and queries in a fast efficient and concise manner.
  • Continuously review operational procedures to identify and implement improvements.
  • Review and update work instructions and SOPs for all Finance tasks; provide training and refresher sessions to team members.
  • Drive innovation through the implementation of paperless processes and automation, fostering team development with personalized growth plans and best practice sharing.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Degree in Finance/Accounting/Actuarial Science or relevant field, solid technical skills in Finance, with at least 1-3 years of a team management experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, business partnering at different levels.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent people management and influencing skills.
  • Experience working in a shared service/BPO environment is an added advantage.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement; sets high standards and realistic goals, committed to deadlines, hands-on and effective leadership and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience in training and mentoring, knowledge of business improvement methodologies, and support for departmental systems training.
