EH&S Manager (The Exchange TRX)
The EHS Manager is responsible in assisting the Head of Security and EH&S. Your role to develop and execute by represent the asset in managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental and safety programs. Your duties include but to limited to the following:
Responsible in developing and conducting periodic safety audit/ assessments.
Develop and establish Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP), Emergency Mitigation Procedures (EMP) and related budgets.
Execute, develop, and implement environmental and safety management system.
Maintain a current working knowledge of EH&S regulations and understand how they impact business.
Interact with government agencies and lead on site visit from EH&S, OSHA and other regulatory bodies.
Ensure firefighting system and building management system are working accordingly and responsible for a follow-up with suggested corrective action.
Build and maintain long-term mutually beneficial relationships with tenants, owners, the local community, and other key internal/external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain training matrix and associated training for the subordinates and the rest of the team.
Safety refers to the condition of being protected from harm or other non-desirable outcomes. It also refers to the control of recognized hazards in order to achieve an acceptable level of risks.
Requirements
Tertiary qualification in OSH / NIOSH
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar capacity at a managerial level
Experience in Emergency preparedness and planning.
Strong knowledge in Fire Fighting System and Building Control System
Good interpersonal skills and able to build good working relationships at all levels.
Proactive, independent, team player, organised, work under pressure and to meet deadline in multi-tasking environment.
