As HaruPlate’s Sales & Distribution Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the brand’s growth in the region by expanding our sales and distribution channels and networks. Your primary goal is to establish strong partnerships with key distributors and retailers for strong growth.

Market Analysis and Strategy

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential opportunities and develop effective sales and distribution strategies tailored to the consumer goods industry.
  • Identify strong sales and distribution channels and partners to optimise market penetration.
  • Market expansion: Identify and explore new market opportunities in Singapore, Malaysia, and other potential regions, conducting market research and proposing market entry strategies.

Sales and Business Development

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and retailers, acting as the primary point of contact for sales, marketing, and operational activities.
  • Collaborate with partners to co-create innovative solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Management:
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with distributors, retailers, and partners to generate leads at point-of-sale locations.
  • Sales Process: Oversee the entire sales process, from lead qualification to closing deals.
  • Sales Forecasting and Planning: Develop sales forecasts, targets and plans based on strong and coherent analysis to align well with business objectives. OKR framework is used to guide these plans.
  • Leverage Community Marketing and Integrate into Sales Strategy: Utilise our strong community support to amplify brand awareness and increase sales conversion at our retail and distribution channels. Where possible, leverage this for new market entry activities as well.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Results-driven with a proven track record in sales and distribution within the consumer goods industry.
  • Strong intrinsic motivation to solve problems and achieve goals and objectives set out together with the team. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of consumer markets and B2B stakeholders in Singapore, Malaysian and other Asian markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, project management software and collaborative work tools like Miro or Figma.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
