Job Description

About the Role:
Are you passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences that empower individuals to master technical products? In this role, you will design and develop a variety of online courses that cater to the learning needs of our customers and partners. You will dive deep into our hardware and software product portfolios, transforming complex information into interactive and user-friendly training materials.

What You'll Do:

Design Engaging Learning Experiences: Create interactive online courses that explain technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, utilizing your visual design skills and multimedia expertise to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention.

Develop Diverse Content: Produce a variety of learning materials, including interactive modules, videos, animations, simulations, and assessments, using your skills in tools like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, and Vyond.

Develop Product Knowledge: Gain a working understanding of our technical products, focusing on their key features, functionalities, and user workflows to effectively translate those concepts into clear and engaging training materials.

Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with subject matter experts and product managers to ensure the technical accuracy and effectiveness of your training solutions.

Manage Your Projects: Effectively manage your assigned tasks and projects, meeting deadlines and achieving project goals.

Continuously Improve: Strive to enhance the quality of your training solutions by incorporating innovative design approaches and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in online learning.

Embrace Our Learning Ecosystem: Publish and manage your content within our Learning Experience Platform (LxP), ensuring seamless functionality and user accessibility.

Maintain Consistency: Adhere to established processes, guidelines, templates, and corporate branding standards to ensure consistency across all training solutions.

Gather Feedback: Collect and analyze learner feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of your training content.

Basic Requirements

What You'll Need:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. A combination of related education and work experience may be considered.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in graphic design, instructional design, technical writing, or online learning development, including experience with standard authoring tools. Experience developing training content for technical products is a plus.

Instructional Design Skills: A basic understanding of instructional design models and adult learning principles.

Technical Aptitude: The ability to quickly learn and understand core technical features and user workflows, translating technical concepts into clear and concise training materials.

Course Authoring Skills: Proficiency in using course authoring tools and basic graphic and video design software.

Visual Design Skills: A keen eye for layout, typography, color theory, and current design trends, with the ability to create visually engaging and accessible learning materials.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a variety of audiences.

Collaboration Skills: A collaborative spirit and the willingness to actively engage with subject matter experts, incorporating their feedback to improve content.

Adaptability: An eagerness to learn and develop skills in new tools, techniques, and technologies related to instructional design, media production, and technical product training.
