- Monitor and report on the behavior and health conditions of hospitalized animals to veterinarians on a daily basis.
- Ensure the clinic is clean, organized, and maintain proper hygiene, including washing and cleaning dog kennels and cages.
- Assist the veterinarian during consultations, treatments and hospitalizations as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Support the veterinarian during surgeries by preparing the operating room, monitoring animals throughout the procedure, and sterilizing surgical tools and the operating environment after surgery.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, including blood analyzers, X-ray machines, and ultrasound devices.
- Perform front desk tasks such as patient registration, billing, answering phone calls, and providing basic clinic information to clients.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and inspecting stocks and updating stock counts.
- General duties as required by Management
- Malaysian citizen. Candidates with previous experience in a similar role has a great advantage;
- Diploma or Certificate in nursing or a related medical field is preferred;
- Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Comfortable working with animals, including dogs;
- Strong communication, organizational, and listening skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities;
- Able to work effectively as part of a team;
- Responsible, with a positive and proactive attitude; and
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle client interactions professionally
