ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field.
• Strong command of both written and spoken English.
• Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Business Studies.
• Able to work under own initiative in a highly pressured environment.
• Highly computer literate with a high level command of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Familiar with OPERA and FIDELIO systems.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• To take on additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Sales & Marketing / Assistant Director of Sales.
• To perform any other duties as directed by the Management.
• Assumes any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Be responsible in achieving the monthly/annual target room nights based on the areas / market industry assigned to you by servicing existing accounts and developing new business.
• To assist in soliciting function room business/seminars, conventions, exhibitions, conferences and any other private or public gatherings using the hotel’s facilities
• To submit weekly / monthly report detailing all sales activities with competitors’ survey.
• To co-ordinate with relevant supporting departments all pertinent and special arrangements regarding each event.
• To be responsible for updating monthly / yearly room nights production figures for all supporters.
• Entertaining specific accounts that have business potential to maintain good business relationships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
