The Registered Nurse (RN) is a critical member of the healthcare team responsible for providing comprehensive patient care. This role requires a strong clinical foundation, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate demeanor. The RN will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care:
  • Conducts comprehensive patient assessments to identify healthcare needs.
  • Develops and implements individualized patient care plans.
  • Administers medications, treatments, and therapies according to established protocols.
  • Monitors patient condition and response to interventions.
  • Provides education and support to patients and families regarding disease management and self-care.
  • Collaborates with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Clinical Skills:
  • Performs procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and medication administration.
  • Collects and analyzes patient data, including vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic test results.
  • Performs basic patient care tasks, including bathing, feeding, and hygiene.
  • Administers emergency care and resuscitation as needed.
  • Documentation:
  • Accurately documents patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
  • Maintains clear and concise communication with healthcare team members.
  • Quality Improvement:
  • Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Adheres to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Professional Development:
  • Maintains current knowledge of nursing practices and advancements through continuing education.
  • Participates in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated compassion and empathy for patients.

Additional Requirements

  • Willingness to work night shifts.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
