- Responsible for managing the Company’s full set of accounts with minimal supervision.
- Handle day-to-day operational matters of the accounts department, ensuring compliance with internal control procedures and accounting policies.
- Prepare and perform monthly variance analysis on all expenses against the budget.
- Monitor bank balances, cash flow positions, and fund placements.
- Coordinate and prepare financial budgets, projections, and performance targets, and monitor financial performance against the budgeted or projected figures.
- Liaise with financial institutions, auditors, and tax agents on accounting and financial-related matters.
- Manage, update, improve, and maintain an accurate and effective filing system.
- Support and participate in ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned.
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or other accounting-related fields.
- At least 2 years of working experience in a related field. Experience in the manufacturing industry is an added advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Analytical, resourceful, organized, meticulous, responsible, with excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Auto Count accounting software.
- Good command of written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
