Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Risk, Audit, and Integrity (RAI) department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks at all levels of the organization.
  • Oversee the internal audit function, ensuring audits are conducted professionally and effectively, with a focus on improving internal controls and compliance.
  • Lead integrity assessments, investigations, and compliance reviews to uphold the highest ethical standards within the organization.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on risk management, audit findings, and integrity matters to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization, promoting best practices in risk management and audit processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to risk and audit practices.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices impacting risk management, audit, and integrity.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient operation and achieving strategic objectives.
  • Mentor and develop RAI team members, fostering professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in risk management, audit, or compliance roles, with significant experience in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders, providing insights and guidance.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a focus on developing and nurturing talent within the team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
