Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Risk, Audit, and Integrity (RAI) department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks at all levels of the organization.
- Oversee the internal audit function, ensuring audits are conducted professionally and effectively, with a focus on improving internal controls and compliance.
- Lead integrity assessments, investigations, and compliance reviews to uphold the highest ethical standards within the organization.
- Prepare and present regular reports on risk management, audit findings, and integrity matters to senior management and the board of directors.
- Foster a risk-aware culture throughout the organization, promoting best practices in risk management and audit processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives related to risk and audit practices.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and best practices impacting risk management, audit, and integrity.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient operation and achieving strategic objectives.
- Mentor and develop RAI team members, fostering professional growth and enhancing team capabilities.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certification is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in risk management, audit, or compliance roles, with significant experience in a leadership or managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional projects effectively.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and stakeholders, providing insights and guidance.
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on developing and nurturing talent within the team.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
