Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and innovative CNC Programmer cum Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on improving machining efficiency, cycle times, and overall productivity through creative programming, optimized fixturing, and process enhancements. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring the highest standards of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities - Develop, test, and refine CNC programs to achieve optimal machining efficiency and superior surface finishes. - Design and implement innovative fixturing and clamping solutions to minimize setup time and ensure part stability during machining. - Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for cycle time reduction, material optimization, and cost savings. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, adherence to quality standards, and timely project delivery. - Conduct tests, analyze data, and refine machining processes to meet production objectives and improve efficiency. - Troubleshoot machining challenges, providing immediate and effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions. Qualifications and Skills - A minimum of 7 years of experience in CNC programming and machining. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, such as SolidCAM, SolidWorks, or equivalent. - Comprehensive knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and materials. - Hands-on expertise in fixturing and clamping techniques for various part geometries. - Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
