1. Machine Setup and Operation: Set up CNC and manual machines for production based on job specifications. Load and unload raw materials and parts into machines. Monitor machine operation and adjust settings to ensure accuracy and efficiency. 2.Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical instructions to determine machining requirements. Ensure adherence to dimensional tolerances and specifications. 3.Programming: Enter or modify machine programming codes (e.g., G-code) for custom jobs. Perform test runs to validate setups and program accuracy. 4. Quality Control: Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Identify and correct deviations from specifications. Maintain documentation of quality inspections and production data. 5.Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure operational efficiency. Identify and report machine malfunctions for prompt repair. Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, such as ISO 9001 or ISO 14001. Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity. Recommend enhancements to tooling, techniques, or equipment. Other Duties: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support other manufacturing operations as needed.
