Site Electrical Engineer

• Review electrical engineering specifications, drawings and project requirements in detail to ensure alignment with overall project design and customer requirements. • Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards and customer specifications, including national and international standards. • Provide detailed design and comprehensive technical drawings for mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance to project requirements. • Work closely with the design team and other engineers to develop and refine system designs that meet the technical, functional and aesthetic requirements of the project. • Closely supervise construction activities on site, ensuring electrical system installation is carried out accurately according to project plans and specifications. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work, and promptly address any technical or logistical issues to maintain high project standards. • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports that include achievements, challenges faced, and any necessary adjustments to the project plan. • Coordinate activities with the project team, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure smooth communication and efficient project flow and minimize any interruptions or delays. • Implement and enforce strict safety protocols on site, ensuring all work is carried out safely and complies with relevant health and safety regulations. • Maintain high quality standards in all electrical work, ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems, and constantly seek opportunities for process and quality improvement. • Assist in dealing with local authorities and regulatory bodies to facilitate the approval process of power supply and other permits required for the project. • Manage the application process for power supply connections, ensuring all documentation and requirements are met in a timely manner, as well as handling any issues that arise throughout the process.
