Junior Site Engineer

Job Description :- 1) To monitor diversified aspects of construction management from planning, coordination and supervision of on-site activities. 2) To implement all procedures and practice as stipulated in company policy/ISO (Safety & Quality). Duties and Responsibilities:- 1) Handle day to day activities at site. 2) To assist Client / Client’ representative in implementation and supervision of construction work at site, ensure time completion with quality standard. 3) Ensure Compliance with Contract Drawing and Specifications. 4) Check construction work based on approved drawings and to report for any non-compliance. 5) Assist to ensure all material delivered to site is as per approved specifications. 6) Monitor and ensure the quality of works is carried out in accordance to the specifications and standard of local authority/contract. 7) Assist Client / Client’ representative to evaluate and resolve and discrepancies or technical issues arising during project implementation. 8) Liaise with project team member especially HQ Technical Team, Product Specialist, Suppliers, Consultants, Contractors, Sub-contractors whenever there are discrepancies in design, arising technical matters or Interfacing works. 9) Attend and witness material test and all related test carried out as required in the project/contract or specifications. 10) Ensure all statutory requirements such as Safety and Health Acts. 11) To perform any other relevant task as assigned by the superior. Basic Qualification & Pre-requisite :- 1) Malaysian citizen and must be able to converse & write in Mandarin and English Must be willing to travel and to be based at Construction Site. 2) Familiar with standard concepts and best practices for construction and civil works 3) Must be able to interpret construction drawings. 4) Good writing and verbal communication skills both in Mandarin and English 5) Keen intention to detail and ability 6) Possess Degree / Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent. 7) Work irregular hour to accomplish urgent and/or pending assignments, when required. 8) Valid driving license. 9) Minimum 2-3 years in Working Experience in construction field.
