Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficient procurement, production, distribution, and inventory management. The role focuses on cost efficiency, supplier relationships, and meeting customer demands while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Overall Supply Chain Strategy Planning & Implementation
- Plan and implement the overall supply chain management procedures and strategy, to ensure business needs are met efficiently.
- Develop short and long-term supply chain strategies/ projects to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
- Actively work to remove bottlenecks and create scalable mechanisms through capacity optimization and risk management.
- Focus on cost management in all interactions and directives
Inventory Management
- Accurate inventory report (monthly & quarterly) and provide insight on the data analysis and propose action plans to optimise stock turnover.
- Development effective Inventory management strategy, demand and forecasting including manage promotional inventory requirements to minimising stock out and overstock situation
Logistics and Shipment Planning
- Responsible for logistics operations and shipping matters including product handling and fulfilment.
- Establish ways to improve stocks performance and logistics controls
- Develop effective strategy in stock allocation, this includes but not limited to container consolidation planning inbounding to various destinations.
Team management & reporting
- Set clear and tractable KPI and drive performance of the team
- Provide support and guidance to ensure maximum team productivity
- Drive clear, precise, and regular communication with stakeholders to include ongoing project progress.
- Prepare and submit reports to COO on monthly/quarterly basis.
Any ad hoc tasks/projects assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or logistics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheet.
- Ability to speak in Mandarin.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
