Responsibilities:
· Identify and assess hazards, risks and control measures for operation or process.
· Conduct ongoing review of operations and processes to identify potential hazards, risks and control measures that should be implemented to reduce these risks, including all costs involved in implementing such measures.
· Assess and document hazards, risks and controls in a manner consistent with established procedures and practices.
· Fulfill all the requirements of the customer’s site Safety Management System
· Supervise the operation of any potential hazards in the workplace.
· Conduct on-site daily toolbox meeting before start of planned activity
· Ensure that all company employees meet all OSHA requirements.
· Ensure that health, safety, and environmental policies are followed.
· Investigate workplace accidents and injuries and refer them to the proper authorities.
· Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned by superior
· Perform any other duties or projects as requested by the management
· Provide OSHA training if necessary.
· To coordinate committee meeting and assist in ISO OSHA documentation and audit
Requirements for Sales Executive:
· Certificate in occupational health and safety.
· Proven experience as Safety Health Officer / Site Safety Supervisor.
· In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) and procedures.
· Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus.
· Outstanding organizational skills.
· Diligent with great attention to detail.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
