We have a new vacancy for Occupational Safety & Health Coordinator position. Available for contract position.

Qualification:

Possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Environmental/ Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) from DOSH/NIOSH or equivalent.
Knowledge in Occupational Safety & Health related legislation, regulations, and practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Inspect and rectifying any unsafe conditions at the factory and site.
Correcting any unsafe practices
Liaise with JKKP/DOSH and authorized department (eg: Bomba, Jabatan Kesihatan, CIDB and etc) to maintain company progressive safety standards and requirement.
To assist in formulating safety & health policies and procedures in accordance to OSHA 1994 Act 514 & FMA 1967 requirements.
To organize training & briefings on safety awareness programs, safety orientations and formulate safety policies.
To observe & report unsafe conditions and unsafe acts & propose recommendation control.
Promote and implement safety & health programs, awareness, and practices.
To assist in the safety induction trainings for new employees and contractors, provide safety trainings and safety awareness workshop for production and project site employees.
Enforced safety regulation at all level of organization.

Skills:

Excellent communication skill with the ability to present and explain safety and health topic.
Good interpersonal skill and willingness to work with people at all levels of an organization.
Able to work independently.
