IT Assistant Engineer

I. RESPONSIBILITIES  Assist IT Support Engineer to upgrade, Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.  To assist in providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).  Setting up accounts for new users (Active Directory & O365).  Monitoring Sophos Antivirus Alert, then solve and clean up.  Monitoring Mimecast Email filter, release, or block email.  Responding in a timely manner to user’s issues and requests.  Perform on-the-job training for junior staff (For MS O365 features, VPN & printer) if required. II. QUALIFICATIONS  Diploma in a Computer or Engineering related field or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and related experience.  Hardware and Software Problem diagnosis skill.  Basic troubleshooting knowledge on windows XP, 7, 10.  Repairing and replacing equipment skill (Computer Standard equipment).  Basic Understanding of Microsoft O365.  Basic Understanding of Active Directory.  Basic Understanding of Windows 10.  Basic Understanding of TCP/IP networking.  Technical knowledge of network and PC hardware, including Dell and HP.  Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.  Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.  Possess own transport and willing to travel as and required.
