Job Responsibilities Oversee and manage daily construction activities on-site to ensure that the work aligns with the approved plans and specifications. Supervise and guide site workers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, including conducting regular safety briefings and toolbox talks. Inspect ongoing work to confirm that construction quality meets company standards and specifications. Identify any potential issues and resolve them proactively to maintain quality control. Monitor and manage materials, tools, and equipment usage on-site, ensuring availability and efficient utilization. Coordinate deliveries and track inventory levels to avoid project delays. Prepare and maintain daily logs, progress reports, and site records. Document incidents, delays, and any changes in project scope, communicating updates to project managers as needed. Develop and adhere to a construction schedule to meet project deadlines. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow and minimize downtime. Address unexpected issues, such as equipment breakdowns or supply delays, with effective troubleshooting and quick decision-making. Adapt plans and resources to accommodate changes in project scope or site conditions. Any other ad hoc tasks relevant to your department.
