  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

The Warden cum Safety Officer carries 3 major areas of responsibility:
(a) the safe working conditions of the Workers,
(b) the safety and condition of the workers’ hostel,
(c) the safety of the factory’s production areas.
The Warden (called for simplicity) is under the HR Department and reports to the Senior HR Executive.

1. Responsible to check on the condition, housekeeping, and safety of the workers’ hostels. While the Warden is not expected to be a handyman to fix all the issues found, he/she is expected to report back to the hostel’s landlord or hostel agent to get the issues fixed.

2. Responsible to check on the workers’ compliance on wearing PPE (personal protection equipment).

3. Responsible to check on the equipment/ machine guarding or provide feedback to the Production Supervisors if machine safety gaps are found.

4. Responsible to monitor the workers’ overall well-being and assist to send sick or injured worker(s) to the clinic/ hospital to get treatment.

5. If a workplace accident happens, the Warden is required to file an Accident Report with DOSH.

Though the Job Description tries to be as complete as possible, the Warden may be assigned additional duties by his/her supervisor or the Management.

Qualifications:

· Diploma with 2-year relevant working experience.

· Related work experience in Safety or Hostel Supervision will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

  • Pasir Gudang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
