Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking authentic Yemeni dishes, including Mandi, Saltah, Aseedah, and other traditional Yemeni recipes. Participate in recipe development, menu planning, and food presentation to maintain the authenticity and quality of Yemeni cuisine. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food preparation, timely service, and adherence to quality standards. Help in managing kitchen operations, including ingredient sourcing, inventory control, and equipment maintenance. Support in training kitchen staff on Yemeni cooking techniques, recipes, and presentation styles. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines. Assist in creating specials, promotions, and seasonal menus featuring Yemeni cuisine. Stay informed about Yemeni culinary trends, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods. Skills and Qualifications: Prior experience working as a Chef specializing in Yemeni cuisine or Middle Eastern cuisine is preferred. Knowledge of authentic Yemeni ingredients, spices, and cooking methods to prepare traditional Yemeni dishes. Strong passion for Yemeni cuisine and a desire to showcase the unique flavors and cultural heritage of Yemeni food. Team player with good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
