Senior Estate Manager

Job Description; • Responsible for developing and managing the overall operation of the assigned estate. • Capable of reviewing and interpreting reports for effective monitoring. • Ensure estates SOP’s are implemented strictly for consistent and quality operations • Responsible for day-to-day estate operations, both in the field & office • Planning, organising, directing, and running optimum daily operations. • To take control of all phases and aspects of estate operation, including land development, cost management, worker management, planting practices and procedures, system and method, and fresh fruit bunches (FFB) production. • Supervising oil palm tree planting, field maintenance, and nursery management. • Ensure that the estate is managed to the standard in accordance with acceptable agriculture and practice as per the company's requirement. • Modernisation of the estate work practices, including awareness of the requirements of MSPO • Follow up with respective departments/estates for updates and outstanding actions. • React to information/ discrepancies and highlight to Management consistently for improving the estate management for better yield performance. • Analyse results and trends and take appropriate actions to resolve/address the issue. Requirements; • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Agriculture/Aquaculture/Forestry or equivalent. • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English • At least 5 years (s) of working experience in a related field required for this position in running an oil palm plantation and is familiar with the field operational management required for this position. • Must have computer skills. • Good people management, communication, and report writing skills.
