Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry & Management:
Accurately input and maintain inventory data into the system, ensuring records are up-to-date and reflect real-time stock levels.
Update inventory levels after stock orders, transfers, and sales.
Ensure all product information, such as descriptions, prices, and quantities, is entered correctly and regularly updated.
Inventory Tracking & Reporting:
Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports, analysing trends and identifying discrepancies.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained and highlight potential issues related to overstocking or stockouts.
Assist in the analysis of inventory data to provide insights into demand forecasting, replenishment, and stock rotation.
Data Analysis:
Analyse historical sales data to forecast future inventory needs.
Identify patterns in stock movements and suggest improvements in inventory processes.
Use statistical and analytical tools to support the optimization of inventory levels, costs, and ordering cycles.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure accurate stock movement and timely replenishment.
Communicate discrepancies, stock-outs, and inventory-related issues to management and other relevant teams.
Assist in preparing inventory-related reports for internal and external audits.
System & Process Improvement:
Participate in the improvement and automation of data entry and inventory management processes.
Ensure inventory management software is used efficiently and effectively, offering suggestions for software improvements or upgrades where applicable.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and data entry practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills in formulas, data analysis, pivot tables, and graphs).
Basic understanding of statistical methods and their application in inventory management.
Ability to analyse data and produce actionable insights.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience:
Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g: Achanto WMS, Xilnex or similar) is a plus.
Languages:
Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (spoken and written) is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
