  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions related to Nautical Science.
  • Develop, review, and update course materials to meet academic and industry standards.
  • Mentor and guide students in achieving academic and professional excellence.
  • Ensure the integration of maritime industry practices into the teaching curriculum.
  • Conduct assessments, grading, and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Stay updated with developments in the maritime field and incorporate them into teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to academic planning and program development.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nautical Science, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) – Minimum Class 3 or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sea-going experience or relevant maritime industry background.
  • Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commitment to student success and academic integrity.
