  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Summary

UCSI Schools is seeking a qualified Chemistry Teacher to educate secondary students at our Subang Jaya Campus. The ideal candidate will engage students in the study of chemistry, inspire scientific curiosity, and help students achieve academic excellence according to the KSSM syllabus.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning

  • Plan and deliver dynamic Chemistry lessons aligned with the KSSM syllabus.
  • Develop engaging lesson plans, assignments, and assessments to foster a deep understanding of chemical principles.
  • Conduct practical experiments to reinforce theoretical concepts and enhance student engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.

Curriculum Development and Enhancement

  • Create and update teaching materials to align with KSSM standards and promote inquiry-based learning.
  • Prepare students for national and international examinations by reinforcing key concepts and problem-solving skills.

Student Support and Development

  • Identify students needing additional support and provide targeted assistance.
  • Foster analytical thinking and encourage students to conduct independent research and experiments.

Collaboration and Professional Development

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a coherent and effective Chemistry curriculum.
  • Participate in continuous professional development to stay informed on the latest educational practices and curriculum updates.

Classroom and Resource Management

  • Ensure the safe and responsible use of lab equipment and chemicals during practical sessions.
  • Maintain an organized and conducive learning environment for students.

RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Education, or a related field.
  • A teaching qualification or certification (e.g., Diploma in Education, PGCE) is preferred.

Experience

  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level.
  • Familiarity with the KSSM syllabus is essential.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts and safety protocols.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire students to explore the world of chemistry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
