- Liaise with regulatory bodies (DOSH, NIOSH, DOE, BOMBA, MOH, JKJR, etc.) to ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Lead the implementation of safety & health procedures according to the standards and conduct safety audits as necessary.
- Identify, investigate and report on incidents & accidents root causes and conduct risk assessment and facilitate training for staff with respect towards all safety issues
- Inspect, maintain and ensure the firefighting equipment is in function
Job requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree.
- Valid competency certificates.
- Registration as a Health and Safety Officer
- At least 5 years’ experience as Safety Officer in a healthcare industry is an advantage.
- Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Computer literacy is required. In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g. OSHA/EPA) procedures
- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety
- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics
- Strong knowledge in Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
- Knowledge in the latest edition of MSQH and JCI is an added advantage.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,300.00 per month
