Facility Management (FM) Coordinator
Working Days: 5.5 days per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm | Saturday 9am - 1pm
Working Location: Tuas View Singapore
Salary range: $1,800 - $2,200 (depends on experience)
FM Coordinator
FM Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a facility, managing various day-to-day tasks related to building maintenance, space management, and overall facility services.
1. Building Maintenance & Operations
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of building systems (ACMV, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Coordinating routine inspections and preventive maintenance schedules for all building systems.
- Managing contractors and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
- Ensuring that the facility complies with safety and building codes.
- Overseeing the implementation of facility management software or systems for tracking work orders, maintenance requests, and space usage.
- Ensuring that technology systems related to building operations (e.g., security systems, climate control) are functioning efficiently.
2. Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensuring the facility meets health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinating emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and safety drills.
- Managing workplace safety inspections and addressing any hazards or non-compliance issues.
- Maintaining and updating emergency response plans and safety protocols.
3. Vendor, Inventory & Supplies
- Identifying and managing relationships with external vendors for services like cleaning, security, catering, and waste management.
- Negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Managing service requests and addressing any issues related to external vendors.
- Ordering and maintaining supplies needed for facility operations (e.g., office supplies, cleaning materials, etc.).
- Managing inventory of equipment, ensuring proper storage, and coordinating usage.
4. Sustainable & Energy Management
- Implementing and managing energy-saving initiatives, such as lighting and ACMV systems.
- Promoting sustainability efforts (e.g., recycling
- programs, waste reduction strategies).
- Monitoring energy consumption and recommending improvements.
5. Communicate & Administration Support
- Acting as the point of contact for facility-related inquiries.
- Addressing concerns or issues related to the building’s operation.
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding any changes, closures, or updates to facility services.
- Handling general administrative duties such as documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of maintenance logs, vendor contracts, and service schedules.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of similar working experience.
- Minimum SPM/ Technical School / Diploma in Facilities Management or Building or Engineering or any equivalent.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,400.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
