A Digital Marketing Specialist is a professional responsible for developing, implementing, and managing online marketing campaigns that promote a company’s products, services, or brand. They use a variety of digital channels such as search engines, social media, email, websites, and mobile apps to reach potential customers and drive business growth. Their goal is to build and strengthen a brand's online presence and generate measurable results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Strategy and Execution

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, traffic, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align digital strategies with overall marketing objectives.
  • Optimize online campaigns across multiple channels, including search engines, social media, email, and display advertising.

Content Creation and Management

  • Work with creative teams to design and implement engaging content for digital platforms. • Oversee website updates, blog posts, and other online content to ensure brand consistency and SEO optimization. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic rankings.
  • Plan and manage PPC campaigns, including Google Ads and social media advertising, to achieve ROI targets.

Social Media Management

  • Create and schedule social media posts across platforms to engage and grow the audience.
  • Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize performance and community interaction. Analytics and Reporting
  • Monitor website and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or HubSpot.
  • Prepare regular reports on KPIs, campaign results, and recommendations for improvement.

Email Marketing

  • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and promotional offers.
  • Manage email lists and track campaign performance to improve open and click-through rates.

Market Trends and Innovation

  • Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and algorithm changes.
  • Experiment with new tools and strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness and user engagement.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Digital Marketing Tools: Familiarity with various digital marketing platforms and tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot, and email marketing tools like MailChimp or Constant Contact.
  • SEO & SEM: Strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and paid search strategies (SEM), including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • Content Creation: Ability to create compelling content, whether it's written, visual, or video, that resonates with the target audience.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze marketing data and use insights to optimize campaigns and improve results.
  • Creativity and Innovation: The ability to think creatively, test new ideas, and adapt strategies to evolving trends and consumer behavior.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for creating content and collaborating with teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree in digital marketing or an MBA can be a plus.
  • Experience: Several years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, either in-house or at an agency, is preferred. Prior experience with SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media is often required.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, HubSpot Inbound Marketing, or Facebook Blueprint can help validate expertise and enhance the candidate’s qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
