Job Summary
UCSI Schools is seeking an innovative and tech-savvy EdTech & ICT Teacher to teach primary and secondary students and support the integration of educational technology at our Springhill Campus. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality ICT instruction, inspire students to excel in digital literacy, and assist in implementing EdTech solutions to enhance learning experiences.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Learning
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Educational Technology (EdTech), ICT, and Robotics.
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that integrate EdTech tools, coding, and robotics.
- Foster a hands-on learning environment to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
Curriculum Development
- Design and enhance the EdTech and ICT curriculum to align with international standards.
- Incorporate advancements in AI, AR/VR, and STEM-based learning into the curriculum.
- Develop instructional materials and resources to support effective teaching practices.
Robotics and Coding
- Teach robotics, coding, and programming languages appropriate for various age groups.
- Organize and guide students in robotics competitions, projects, and exhibitions.
- Maintain and manage robotics kits, software, and other technological resources.
EdTech Integration
- Train students and staff in using EdTech tools for classroom and remote learning environments.
- Promote digital literacy, emphasizing online safety and ethical technology use.
Collaboration and Professional Development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate technology across other subject areas.
- Participate in professional development to stay updated on trends in EdTech and ICT.
Classroom and Resource Management
- Ensure safe and effective use of ICT and robotics equipment.
- Maintain a well-organized and conducive learning environment.
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
- Teaching certification is an advantage.
Experience
- Prior teaching experience in EdTech, ICT, or Robotics at the primary and/or secondary level.
- Experience in curriculum development and STEM-focused learning.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Scratch).
- Hands-on experience with robotics platforms (e.g., LEGO Mindstorms, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
- Knowledge of EdTech tools, online platforms, and multimedia applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
