The Course Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving student enrollment for our IT and software engineering programs by identifying and engaging potential students, supporting marketing efforts, and guiding prospective students through the admissions process. This role requires strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the college’s course offerings to effectively represent the college and achieve enrollment targets.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Generation and Outreach
- Conduct targeted outreach to potential students through digital channels, networking events, and partnerships.
- Build and manage a database of prospective students, tracking engagement and follow-ups.
Sales and Enrollment Target Achievement
- Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment goals, contributing to overall admissions targets.
- Collaborate with the admissions and marketing teams to develop strategies for meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
Marketing and Promotion Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, including webinars, open houses, and career fairs.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team on lead sources, promotional materials, and campaign effectiveness.
Course and College Information Resource
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective students, providing information on course content, benefits, and career opportunities.
- Keep updated with course changes, college updates, and industry trends to accurately inform and advise prospective students.
Admissions Process Coordination
- Guide students through each step of the admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Work closely with the admissions team to streamline application processes and document handling.
Market and Competitor Analysis
- Conduct regular analysis of market and competitor programs to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Report findings on market trends and student demand to assist in the development of new course offerings or program enhancements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field; experience in education sales or admissions is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales or a similar customer-focused role, preferably within the education or training sector.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and persuade potential students.
- Knowledge of IT and software engineering fields is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented approach.
- Analytical skills to conduct market research and analyze competitor programs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Goal-driven, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
REMUNERATION & BENEFITS
- RM3,000 – RM4,000 of basic salary (Remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualification) + Commission
