We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our dynamic organization. This critical role requires a seasoned professional who can effectively lead and drive our financial strategy while ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
a. Assess and evaluate financial performance of the dealership with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts.
b. Ensure implementation of policies, procedures, and processes as deemed appropriate by the senior leadership team and group head office.
c. Review and analyse monthly financial results and provide recommendations on variations to budget.
d. Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget.
e. Supervise the accounting department to ensure the proper functioning of all systems and databases.
f. Prepare and ensure that the general ledger recon file is complete for all balance sheet items and agreed to relevant third-party confirmations.
g. Oversee management of the asset register and ensure bi-annual physical verification.
h. Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
i. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting.
j. Preparation and communication of monthly, and annual financial results including:
1. Monthly finance cost of sales reports
2. Monthly debtor collection reports
3. Monthly financial reporting
4. Cash and working capital management
5. Ensure compliance with the account management process and provide guidance relating to the collection process
6. Ensure adequate controls are in place to ensure the safe custody of assets.
Qualifications:
a. Minimum of a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
b. Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance functions, experience as an auditor is advantageous.
Additional Skills & Abilities:
a. Experience with any accounting system or similar software applications.
b. Knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and local regulatory laws.
c. Tax awareness , company tax, and other statutory payments and reconciliations.
d. Audit engagement and assistance to ensure completion of annual audits.
Team Management:
a. Mentor and develop the dealership accounting team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
