PRODUCTION LEADER

1. Lead a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. 2. Monitor and optimize production processes to achieve operational targets for quality, productivity, and efficiency. 3. Allocate resources, assign tasks, and ensure proper utilization of equipment and materials. 4. Ensure products meet quality standards and compliance with specifications. 5. Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot quality issues, and collaborate with quality control teams to resolve defects or discrepancies. 6. Maintain accurate documentation of quality checks and product standards. 7. Train, mentor, and motivate production technician to ensure consistent performance. 8. Address any employee issues, provide feedback, and foster a positive team environment. 9. Promote safety, adherence to workplace policies, and best practices. 10. Assist Production Supervisor in conducting performance reviews, and help in the development of staff skills. 11. Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and protocols on the production floor. 12. Ensure all team members are trained on safety practices and monitor compliance. 13. Report and address any safety hazards or incidents immediately to maintain a safe working environment. 14. Prepare Material Requisition Form (MRF) and submit to Supply Chain following confirmation of orders. 15. Adjust production schedules in response to operational challenges, customer needs, or material shortages. 16. Track production metrics (e.g., downtime, throughput, yields) and prepare daily production reports. 17. Identify areas for process improvement and work with cross-functional teams to implement changes. 18. Suggest and implement methods for reducing waste, improving quality, and increasing throughput. 19. Participate in Lean, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Safety, FSC, PEFC, 5S or other continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
