Position: Part-Time Baker and Dessert Maker

We are currently seeking a passionate and creative part-time Baker and Dessert Maker who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and a love for crafting high-quality, visually appealing baked goods and desserts.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of baked goods such as bread, cookies, cakes, and pastries using traditional and creative techniques.
• Follow existing recipes and contribute ideas for new dessert and bread recipes.
• Decorate baked goods in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-organized at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for ordering supplies.
• Ensure that all products meet food safety and quality controls.
• Collaborate with other team members to offer excellent customer service.
• Manage time effectively to meet baking and customer demands.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a baker or in a relevant role.
• Good understanding of baking techniques and the pastry-making process.
• Creative ability with artistic skill in decorating cakes and other desserts.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school attendance or a degree in baking and pastry arts is preferable.

Working Hours:

• The position requires flexibility in shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
