  • To assist Mall & Store Manager on monitoring and oversees the whole operation of operational building and M&E and Gas system.
  • Ensure updated for all maintenance works or services to be filled in the Maintenance Requisition Form (MRF), proper record in Daily Log Book and perform Facility Checklist.
  • To ensure all M & E and Gas works are carried out by registered services contractor follow schedule and according to the contracted agreement.
  • Supervise external contractor’s works/ service and monitor their performance.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to assign job function.
  • To establish emergency contacts for all contractors and facility staff on call standby.
  • To plan, implement and monitor the working schedule for each Facility staff in order to achieve daily, weekly, monthly and yearly objectives of the maintenance and preventive activities.
  • Lead and manage a team of wiremen/ electrician/ technician & facility resources to provide effective and reliable support services for all plant machineries, equipment and facilities.
  • Standby for major breakdowns and emergencies.
  • Ensure that all electrical services are serviceable and M&E room always clean & tidy at all times.
  • Plan, organize and implement a comprehensive program (including both corrective, condition & preventive activities) to ensure smooth operation all mechanical and electrical installation.
  • Responsible to Register their Competency Qualification with Suruhanjaya Tenaga and ensure all electrical system in good condition.
  • To ensure maximum security and safety for all M&E and Gas operations and to minimize interruption.
  • To ensure all documentation for servicing and repairing was completed as per schedule.
  • To establish and implement tools stock card and carry out inspection.
  • To act as a Gas Responsible Person (OB), if appointed and send to attend GRP course by Aeon Co.(M) Bhd.
  • To carry out daily inspection and monitoring for HT & LV switchboards, bus-ducts, transformers, switchgears and TNB/SESCO supply.
  • Develop short- and long-term building maintenance plan.
  • To assist maintenance work when necessary as such as :
    • Air Conditioning System
    • Plumbing & Sanitary System
    • Fire Protection System
    • LPG System
    • Water Supply System
    • Lift & Escalator System
    • Building Alarm Security System
    • Others M&E System
    • Carry out schedule inspections and testing of standby Generator (Free Load & On Load), Fire pumps, Sump pumps and etc.
    • Carry out in-house electrical works including maintenance, inspection and testing as assigned by the management.
    • Develop and maintain records and reports such as equipment and supplies inventories, damage/defect reports, preventive maintenance and repair records.
    • Liaise with relevant Authorities and vendors to ensure compliance of the applicable laws, including OSHA/EIA Act, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Electrical Inspectorate Unit, BOMBA and other regulatory governing bodies.
    • Able to communicate with building occupants/tenants effectively.
    • Others task assigned by direct superior.
  • (i) Chargeman – Electrical Competence Person in Category A4
  • Able to work well and understand about Electrical safety procedure and familiar with Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Regulations of Electrical Compliance 1994.
  • Able to work well and understand about electrical installation and safety procedure.
  • Able to read and understand electrical schematic / single line drawing.
  • Able to report in written and verbal communication.
  • Able to monitoring for electrical equipment and problem analysis.
  • Independent, responsible, self-motivated, resourceful and able to work under pressure.
